Overview

CollabMind is a collaborative platform designed for residential architects, clients, and contractors to streamline communication, decisions, and documentation throughout renovation projects. It organizes every phase, from early ideas to construction, into a unified, accessible workspace.

The challenge

Residential renovation brings architects, clients and contractors together, but their communication, decisions and documentation are scattered. That creates miscommunication and decision fatigue, a pain point architects and contractors have lived with for over 20 years.

My approach

I built CollabMind in React Native as one shared workspace organised around the three phases of a project: Dream, Design and Build. Role-based access gives architects, clients and contractors the right view, project data is structured in one place, and the app works across mobile and web.

Results

• Transformed chaotic project communications into an organized, shareable workspace.
• Improved collaboration and clarity between professionals and clients in the residential architecture space.
