How I work
What working with me looks like, from the first call to after launch.
- 1Discover
We talk through your goals, users and constraints, and agree what to build first.
- 2Design
Flows and screens you can react to before any code is written.
- 3Build
Weekly working builds on your phone or browser, so you always see real progress.
- 4Launch and support
Store release or deployment, then fixes and new features as the product grows.
What you can expect
- A short call first. We talk about the product, the users and the budget. You get a written scope and a fixed quote or a clear estimate, not a vague range.
- Weekly demos. Every week you see working software, not status reports. You can install a test build on your own phone (TestFlight and Google Play internal testing) from the first weeks.
- One point of contact. You talk to the developer who writes the code. No account managers, no hand-offs.
- Clear communication. Questions answered within a working day, and a short written update every week: what's done, what's next, and any decisions I need from you.
You own everything
- The code lives in your GitHub repository from day one.
- The App Store, Google Play, Firebase and cloud accounts are created under your company, with me invited as a developer.
- No lock-in: the project uses mainstream, well-documented tools (React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js), so any good developer can pick it up later.
Quality built in
- TypeScript everywhere, automated tests for the important flows, and crash reporting from the first release.
- Release builds tested on real iPhones and Android phones, including older devices.
- I handle the store submission: privacy forms, screenshots and review questions.
After launch
- 30 days of free bug fixes after the first public release.
- Then, if you want, a monthly retainer for updates, OS upgrades, new features and store releases. No minimum term.
Let's build something great.
